About the role#
Alamos Gold Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern or Co-op student for an 8 to 12 month term at the Lynn Lake Project. This role offers hands-on experience in a mine building environment, working alongside department leaders to support project success and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, environment, geology, and mine operations.
- Support the engineering and environmental teams with daily tasks.
- Participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments.
- Comply with all site safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment such as high-visibility vests, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university or college program in Engineering (Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Geological, or a related discipline).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Comfort working in industrial and construction environments.

- Location: Lynn Lake, Manitoba, Canada.
- Term: Fall 2026, 8-12 months.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid position.
