The Principal Investments Analyst internship provides exposure to the full lifecycle of principal investing, ranging from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to supporting due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio company strategy. This role involves working alongside senior investment professionals and the founding partners of the firm. Please note that this position is with ACP or another Agentis affiliate organization, rather than Agentis Capital Advisors directly.
What you'll do#
- Research and evaluate potential principal investment opportunities, including analysis of target companies, sectors, industries, and geographies.
- Support the execution of principal investments through financial analysis, valuation, and transaction support.
- Build and maintain financial models of varying complexity to support investment decisions and portfolio monitoring.
- Contribute to the operations of existing portfolio companies and assist with corporate finance responsibilities.
- Support the development of investment theses, business plans, and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with asset-level reporting and performance monitoring across the portfolio.
- Prepare internal materials and presentations for investment committees and senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, economics, statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Exceptional academic results with a minimum cGPA of 80% or 3.7/4.0.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Desire to assume increasing levels of responsibility and seek solutions to complex problems.
- Commitment to producing accurate and thorough work under tight deadlines.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Full-time, 4 months (September – December 2026).
