About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a business unit at Aflac. You will work on specific projects, observe experienced personnel to learn company standards, and receive training on division operations. This is a paid, full-time role that allows you to develop your professional skills in a corporate environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with projects and ad hoc tasks within your assigned business unit.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to prepare reports for management.
- Help your team identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in roundtable discussions to share feedback and ideas.
- Build skills in project management, leadership, and presentations through your daily work.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and general internet use.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
- A flexible approach to assignments and a dependable work ethic.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Columbus, Georgia.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring you to be in the office for at least 60% of the work week.
- The pay range for this position is $20 to $25 per hour.
