About the role#

Adolfson & Peterson Construction offers paid, full-time internships that provide exposure to a career in the construction industry. You will work under the supervision of full-time team members to gain professional experience and academic knowledge. This program supports an Incident and Injury Free culture where safety is the primary responsibility of all team members.

What you'll do#

• Participate in field and office-based disciplines, including Safety, Preconstruction, Project Management, Field Operations, Accounting, Business Development, MEP, Virtual Construction, Marketing, and Human Resources.
• Work under the supervision of experienced team members to learn industry practices.
• Apply academic knowledge to professional tasks to further your development.
• Adhere to all safety policies and contribute to the company's safety culture.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree program related to the internship focus, such as Civil Engineering, Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or Marketing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical and logic skills with the ability to maintain precision in detailed work.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, and kneel.
• Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to work in various, including extreme, climate conditions.
