About the role#
Adolfson & Peterson Construction offers paid internships for students looking to gain experience in the construction industry. You will work alongside full-time team members to learn about different aspects of the business. This program provides exposure to both field and office environments.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience in disciplines such as Safety, Preconstruction, Project Management, Field Operations, Accounting, Business Development, MEP, Virtual Construction, Marketing, and Human Resources.
- Work under the supervision of full-time staff to support ongoing projects.
- Absorb information to grow your academic and professional knowledge.
- Follow company safety policies and contribute to the Incident and Injury Free culture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to the internship, such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Accounting, or Marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, and kneel.
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push up to 100 pounds.
- Willingness to work in various climate conditions, including extreme weather.

- This is a full-time, on-site role.
- Locations: Aurora, Colorado and Johnstown, Colorado.
