About the role#
The Corporate Development & Strategy internship is a 10-12 week program running from June through August. You will work 40 hours per week in an immersive environment. This role focuses on supporting growth initiatives and corporate finance projects. You will have the chance to network with company leadership and gain exposure to strategic planning. This internship is a pathway to the BUILD Program, which is a full-time rotational program for recent graduates.
What you'll do#
- Support the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of growth opportunities and investments.
- Build company profiles, perform financial reviews, and create deal assessment presentations.
- Assess industries and competitive landscapes to identify emerging trends.
- Assist with internal corporate finance and strategic initiatives by working across different company functions.
- Build skills in financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and company valuation.
- Analyze and synthesize data into presentation formats suitable for executive review.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Previous internship or project experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and time management skills.
- Experience leading teams or organizations.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Atlanta, Georgia.
- You are expected to work from the office five days per week.
- The role may require up to 20% travel.
