    About the role#

    As a Software Development Intern for the Executive Business Center (EBC), you will contribute to building demonstrations that showcase Actian products at the Round Rock office. This 12-week, full-time remote internship begins June 8, 2026, and includes a trip to the Austin, Texas office for onsite orientation.

    What you'll do#

    • Research and develop applications designed to showcase Actian products within the Round Rock EBC.
    • Implement AI functionalities, such as facial recognition and customized user experiences, using the Actian VectorAI database.
    • Enhance existing market products, including telepresence robots, to create unique user experiences.

    What you'll need#

    • Active enrollment in a college degree program, specifically pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
    • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or C++.
    • Experience or knowledge in AI-related development, such as machine learning or robotics.
    • Knowledge of databases is considered a plus.
