About the role#
This 10-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in business development and client engagement. You will work alongside our local team to support sales initiatives and the recruiting lifecycle. The program includes structured training, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to real business outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Identify and qualify potential clients through outbound prospecting.
- Support account executives with market mapping, lead research, and target list development.
- Make sales calls, craft outreach messages, and nurture early-stage client relationships.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and client materials.
- Participate in sales meetings, deal strategy sessions, and pipeline reviews.
- Shadow sales professionals on client calls or visits.
- Track activity metrics and provide weekly progress updates.
- Source and screen candidates using job boards, databases, and social media.
- Conduct initial resume reviews and phone screens.
- Assist in writing job descriptions and managing candidate communications.
- Participate in daily and weekly learning sessions.
- Complete a capstone project and collaborate on group business simulations.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
- A strong interest in sales and client development.
- Competitive drive and comfort working toward specific activity goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain a professional attitude.
- Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- A willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt.
- Prior customer service, campus leadership, or sales experience is a plus.
