About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides hands-on experience in business development and the recruiting lifecycle. You will work alongside our local team to support client engagement, lead generation, and talent sourcing. The program includes structured training, mentorship, and opportunities to collaborate on group challenges and a final capstone project.
What you'll do#
- Identify and qualify potential clients through outbound prospecting.
- Support account executives with lead research and market mapping.
- Make sales calls, craft outreach messages, and nurture early-stage client relationships.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and client materials.
- Shadow sales professionals during client calls and meetings.
- Track activity metrics and provide weekly progress updates.
- Source and screen candidates using job boards, social media, and internal databases.
- Conduct initial resume reviews and phone screens.
- Support recruiters with interview management and candidate communication.
- Assist in writing and posting job descriptions.
- Participate in daily and weekly learning sessions on sales tactics and recruiting practices.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
- A strong interest in sales and business development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain a professional attitude.
- Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Competitive and motivated mindset with a focus on meeting activity goals.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt to new situations.
- Experience in a sales program, campus leadership, or customer service is preferred.
