About the role#
We are looking for a creative and outgoing student to serve as the face of our official TikTok account. You will bring campus life to the spotlight through videos that connect with our students and the broader Academy community.
What you'll do#
- Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas for TikTok.
- Film, edit, and post videos highlighting campus events, Academy culture, student life, designs, and artistic works.
- Interview and interact with students on camera.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Organic Social Media team to review content plans.
- Track TikTok trends and adapt them for the Academy page.
What you'll need#
- Current Academy of Art University student eligible for work study.
- Comfort on camera with a friendly and approachable personality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with peers.
- Familiarity with TikTok, including posting, editing, and trend research.
- Reliability, organization, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: Hybrid, with a mix of remote work and onsite campus events.
- Schedule: Flexible, between 5 and 20 hours per week.
- Pay: $19.61 per hour.
- Duration: From your starting term through graduation.
