About the role#
Acacia Animal Hospital offers clinical externships for DVM students. This program provides practical experience in a small animal practice to help you prepare for your career. You will work alongside our veterinary team to practice technical, communication, and problem-solving skills under supervision. Rotations typically last two to three weeks, though they can range from two to eight weeks depending on your curriculum. You will receive a stipend of $250 per week.
What you'll do#
- Gather patient histories.

- Provide wellness care and participate in surgeries.

- Practice client communication skills.
