About the role#
ABC Education Group is seeking host families to support international high school students. This is a cultural exchange opportunity where you provide a home for students visiting from abroad. We offer full-time placements lasting 5 to 10 months, short-term stays of 1 to 6 weeks, and back-up hosting options for shorter periods. You will receive a monthly stipend for your support.
What you'll do#
- Provide a safe and welcoming home environment.
- Help students adjust to life in the United States.
- Offer nutritious meals daily.
- Set clear expectations regarding household routines, including meals, guests, curfews, electronics, and chores.
- Ensure the student has reliable transportation to school by bus, bike, walking, or personal drop-off.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 25 years old.
- Provide an English-speaking home.
- Offer a private or shared bedroom for the student.
- Maintain a stable and caring household.
- Ability to coordinate school transportation.

- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a full-time commitment.
- We welcome applicants with backgrounds in Sociology, Psychology, International Relations, Communications, and History.
- You will have access to a dedicated coordinator for monthly check-ins and 24/7 emergency support.
