About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Toronto, Ontario. You will spend 15 weeks gaining hands-on experience by completing a dedicated project within the Corporate Affairs team. The role requires you to be on-site five days a week.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate to complete a project in a specified area, such as corporate communications, internal communications, brand PR, or ESG/CSR strategy.
- Track and monitor media coverage and corporate campaigns.
- Assist in the coordination of corporate announcements, Senior Leaders' calls, stakeholder relations events, and internal events.
- Conduct research on the media competitive landscape and influencer landscape.
- Develop press materials to support campaigns, including writing press releases and reviewing social media content.
- Craft and deliver an end-of-internship presentation to the Corporate Affairs team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the 2nd or 3rd year of an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You must be returning to school in September 2027 and graduating in December 2027 or later.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- You must be of legal drinking age.
- Geographical and functional mobility for future full-time positions is required.
- Bilingualism is considered an asset.
