The Purchasing College Co-Op provides support for the Cost Request team within the Procurement organization. This team manages purchasing inputs for program, design, and supplier changes while facilitating the pursuit of new business. You will collaborate on crafting business cases, developing pricing strategies, and executing program management activities.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain reporting tools to ensure program milestones are met.
- Assist with the development of pricing proposals and strategies.
- Coordinate the preparation of business cases.
- Track purchase and tool orders.
- Initiate and create cost requests within the cost request system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment at a college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Interest in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.

- Location: Detroit, Michigan.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 25-35 hours per week, year-round.
- Employment status: Paid, part-time.
