About the role#
This position supports the SOMA OPP lab and offices. You will help prepare for weekly labs and assist with end of day cleanup. We are looking for two students, one for year 1 and one for year 2, though one person may take both roles if desired.
What you'll do#
- Organize and distribute cleaning supplies.
- Prepare rooms with necessary lab materials.
- Clean all tables.
- Pick up the lab at the end of the day.
- Refill and gather cleaning supplies.
- Place chairs on tables and power down equipment.
- Prepare weekly lab handouts, including photocopying and sorting.
What you'll need#
- You must be a Federal Work Study student.
- Preference is given to SOMA DO medical students who understand lab needs, but any ATSU student is welcome to apply.
- Ability to lift and move tables and supplies.
- Ability to be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Location & details#
- Location: Mesa, Arizona, Building 5850, 3rd Floor.
- Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 9:00 am and 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Some weeks require about 2 hours of work on Wednesdays.
- This is a part-time, paid, on-site position.
