This entry-level IT Internship is primarily based in the IT Help Desk, with additional exposure to Systems Support, Information Security, and Systems Administration. The program is designed to provide a well-rounded experience within the banking industry.
What you'll do#
- Provide end-user technical support via telephone, in-person, and remote tools.
- Manage assigned tickets to meet service level commitments, escalating issues as necessary.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and support of PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheral equipment.
- Offer technical support for bank phone systems.
- Travel to various company locations during business hours, with potential for additional travel for special projects.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma.
- Current enrollment in a 4-year institution with junior standing or higher.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Basic knowledge of information security standards and relevant industry regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and crawling to install equipment.
