Consumer Lending Admin Assistant Intern

About the role#

The Consumer Lending Admin Assistant Intern will gain a comprehensive understanding of the consumer lending lifecycle, from initial loan submission through final funding. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with internal departments, including Consumer Analyst and Processing teams, to support daily operations and ensure accurate workflow.

What you'll do#

• Coordinate daily operations for the Consumer Lending team.
• Support Consumer Analyst and Processing teams with loan approvals and fundings.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and services to ensure accurate correspondence.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
• Develop an understanding of the consumer lending process from end to end.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a 4-year institution with junior standing or higher.
• Majors in Finance or Business Administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software.
• Strong multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• A basic understanding of consumer loan products, systems, and terminology.
