About the role#
The Finance team supports accurate financial reporting and informed decision-making as the business grows. In this internship, you will work primarily with the Technical Accounting and Treasury teams. You will collaborate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and Finance Operations to research accounting questions, support quarter-end reporting, manage daily cash activity, and support risk management. This is a full-time, remote internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April.
What you'll do#
- Research and document technical accounting conclusions.
- Support quarter-end procedures, controls, schedules, and audit documentation.
- Update daily cash positioning worksheets and dashboards.
- Prepare variance analyses, monitor liquidity, and track daily cash activity.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and transaction inquiries.
- Contribute to ad hoc strategic projects and process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Coursework in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Exposure to US GAAP, financial reporting, or technical accounting research.
- Interest in treasury, cash management, insurance, or financial risk.
- Intermediate skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including organizing data and using formulas.
- Experience creating clear process documentation or working with dashboards.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Confidence to take on new challenges and see them through to completion.
- Humility to ask questions and learn from mistakes.
- Curiosity to look for better ways of doing things.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

- This is a remote role based in the United States or Canada.
- This is a paid, full-time internship for a 4-month term.
