About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will work remotely within Canada or the United States as part of our Finance team. This role involves supporting our core accounting operations while contributing to process improvements and AI automation projects.
What you'll do#
- Process vendor invoices and credit card transactions to support the Accounts Payable team.
- Assist the Accounts Receivable team by triaging customer emails and preparing check deposit reports.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and AI automation projects.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Procurement teams.
- Support the broader team on various special projects.
What you'll need#
- A basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Intermediate skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to take on new challenges and see them through to completion.
- Comfort with asking questions and making mistakes, provided you learn from them.
- A desire to look for better ways of doing things.
- A keen interest in technology and systems.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration program.
