About the role#
This temporary position supports the Automotive Technology program by helping students gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the field. This role focuses on integrating hands-on learning with real-world automotive practices. This position is open only to current students enrolled in the Automotive Program at WSU Tech.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic vehicle repairs and maintenance under supervision.
- Assist with shop organization, cleanliness, and safety practices.
- Utilize program tools and equipment properly and safely.
- Communicate effectively with staff, faculty, and peers.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in the Automotive Technology program.
- Maintenance of good academic standing.
- Ability to work one Saturday per month as scheduled.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety.
