About the role#

This Co-Op Student position at Wright Service Corp. offers hands-on experience within the environmental services and vegetation management industries. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. This position is specifically designated for members of the Tlicho First Nation, including the Behchoko, Whati, Gameti, and Wekweeti communities.

What you'll do#

• Provide support to assigned departments on various projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks and develop solutions.
• Gain exposure to vegetation management and environmental service roles in a professional setting.
• Participate in process improvement and automation projects.
• Learn the specific technology and systems used by the assigned department.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Biology.
• A career interest in environmental services or vegetation management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
• A valid Class 5 Driver’s License and current Driver’s Abstract are considered assets.
• Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is considered an asset.
