Co-Op/ Practicum Student

About the role#

Wright Service Corp. is seeking a Co-Op or Practicum student to join the team in Prince George, British Columbia. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. Students from Environmental Engineering, Biology, Civil Engineering, Sociology, or Economics programs are encouraged to apply.

What you'll do#

• Provide support to assigned departments across various projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks and develop solutions.
• Gain professional exposure to environmental services and vegetation management roles.
• Participate in process improvement and automation projects.
• Learn the specific technology and systems used within your assigned department.
• Network with internal teams and contribute to the company culture of safety and integrity.

What you'll need#

• A career interest in environmental services or vegetation management.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work well both individually and as part of a team.
• Strong English communication skills to interact with employees and vendors.
• A valid Class 5 Driver’s License and current Driver’s Abstract are considered assets.
• Possession of, or willingness to obtain, Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification is considered an asset.
