About the role#
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are hiring a Graphic Design and Photography intern for the 2027 baseball season. This full-time internship runs from January through early September. You will work with the Marketing Team to produce print and digital graphics for the ballpark and online platforms. This position offers hands-on experience in the sports industry and requires a commitment to a demanding schedule that includes all home games and special events at the stadium.
What you'll do#
- Create print and digital materials while following brand guidelines and the 2027 design aesthetic.
- Capture and edit photography and record video during game days and non-baseball events.
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts.
- Proof all work intended for public display.
- Handle in-house print fulfillment tasks like cutting, folding, and laminating.
- Assist the team mascot with community appearances.
- Support front office operations including giveaway distribution, tarp pulls, mail, customer service, and answering phones.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, and Lightroom.
- Experience with shooting and editing photography.
- A portfolio of your work is required for your application.
- Strong organizational skills regarding file naming and folder management.
- Ability to prioritize both urgent tasks and long-term projects.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to accept constructive criticism.
- Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Majors in Graphic Design or Media Studies are preferred.
