About the role#
Whiterabbit.ai is seeking a Research Scientist Intern to advance the state of the art in AI models. This role focuses on architecting algorithms and models to power products designed for the early detection of cancer. You will train models on a dedicated high-performance compute cluster and collaborate with healthcare professionals to build solutions that improve diagnostic accuracy and productivity.
What you'll do#
- Develop highly scalable classifiers and detectors to solve real-world problems.
- Participate in cutting-edge research regarding medical applications of computer vision.
- Learn and synthesize a large body of research in deep learning and machine learning.
- Partner with universities and contribute to the research community through high-impact publications.
What you'll need#
- Strong theoretical and empirical research background.
- Fluency in Python and at least one deep learning framework.
- Experience with deep learning and convolutional networks.
- Experience working with large-scale machine learning and terabytes of data.
- A history of contributions to research communities and efforts.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
