About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the supply chain department at White Cap. You will work under general supervision, often with a mentor, to support business initiatives and process improvements. The role involves routine data analysis, identifying inconsistencies, and resolving clearly defined problems within our operations.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to produce findings and draw conclusions.
- Prepare and present insights and recommendations to management through oral and written reports.
- Execute tasks related to functional projects and process improvements.
- Communicate roadblocks or issues related to your specific areas of responsibility.
- Assist with research and special projects to meet business objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- A High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- A genuine interest in learning about distribution center operations and supply chain strategy.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The role follows a rolling term schedule.
- This position is paid.
- Travel requirements are typically less than 10 percent of the time.
