About the role#
We are seeking software engineering interns to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, 12-16 week internship. You will work within cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams to influence the direction of our platform. Your contributions will help solve complex technical challenges and shape future engineering initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Build new features for users within live-streams.
- Implement growth tactics and strategies to scale buyer and seller flows.
- Develop systems at scale to support a high-trust marketplace experience.
- Collaborate on project ideation and management to gain industry experience.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science or a related major.
- Expected graduation date in December 2027 or by Summer 2028.
- Previous industry software engineering experience.
- An intellectually curious mindset and a bias toward action.
- Ability to pick up new technologies quickly.
- A willingness to take risks and solve problems creatively.
- A focus on outcomes and a desire to stay close to the product and our users.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role. You must live within commuting distance of our San Francisco or New York office hubs.
- The position is paid at a rate of $65 per hour.
- We provide a housing and relocation stipend, as well as monthly allowances for internet, cell phone, and app usage.
