About the role#
The Wesco Summer Internship Program is a ten-week project-based assignment. It provides professional experience through on-the-job training and job shadowing. You will work under the supervision of a department manager and have the chance to interview for post-graduate developmental programs in Sales, Supply Chain, Information Technology, and Finance.
What you'll do#
- Support one of these business areas: Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- Develop your professional skillset and business acumen.
- Gain knowledge of products and the wholesale industry.
- Engage with fellow interns and senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- A prior internship in a business-related field is preferred.
