About the role#
This Summer Associate role offers an immersive experience within the Real Estate Investments team. You will work on high priority projects across the full investment lifecycle, including acquisitions, development, and asset management. You will gain exposure to our seniors housing, wellness housing, and medical facilities portfolio while working alongside senior professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support the evaluation of new investment opportunities from initial valuation through closing.
- Assist in underwriting acquisitions, developments, and recapitalizations.
- Build and refine financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
- Research market supply and demand fundamentals to assess property and market risk.
- Participate in weekly Investment Committee meetings to observe and contribute to decision making.
- Collaborate with partners and operators to drive asset performance.
- Join site visits and market tours to understand on the ground operations.
- Participate in meetings with management teams to evaluate strategies.
- Contribute to variance and liquidity analyses.
- Monitor leasing activity and update ARGUS models and other portfolio management tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program.
- Previous internship or relevant work experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on site in New York, New York.
- Some out of area and overnight travel may be expected.
