About the role#
The Technology Internship Program is a 10-week experience designed to immerse students in real-world engineering and enterprise-scale technology. You will work on production-aligned projects, participate in structured training, and receive mentorship from senior technology leaders. This program emphasizes technical execution, innovation, and responsible technology development. Successful completion may lead to consideration for the full-time Technology Analyst Program.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications, including new services and bug fixes.
- Collaborate in Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies to deliver secure, maintainable code.
- Use enterprise-approved AI tools to accelerate development, including generating test cases and refactoring code.
- Partner with senior engineers to review and validate AI-generated code against security and risk standards.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve the accuracy and reliability of AI-assisted outputs.
- Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.
- Contribute to data engineering efforts, such as data modeling and pipeline development.
- Support the creation of reusable frameworks and apply modern design patterns.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- At least 6 months of work experience, or equivalent through training, military service, or education.
- Foundational knowledge in Java, Python.NET, SQL, or cloud technologies.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and API development.
- Experience with software development lifecycle practices like CI/CD, testing, and deployment.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Prior engineering internship experience and involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Ability to pass a required technology skills assessment.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks).
- Modality: Hybrid work schedule with required onsite presence.
- Locations: Charlotte, NC; Irving, TX; Phoenix and Chandler, AZ; Saint Louis, MO; Iselin, NJ.
- Employment: Full-time.
- Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
