Post-Production Intern

About the role#

Weigel Broadcasting Co. is offering a summer internship for students to gain hands-on experience in daily television production. Interns will work under the guidance of department heads, rotating between the video editing and graphics departments to assist with, organize, and create original content for Weigel Productions.

What you'll do#

• Manage and organize graphics and edit projects.
• Coordinate workflows between editors, writers, the graphics team, and producers.
• Complete short video edits for studio and production projects.
• Research and prepare video and graphic assets using in-house and third-party archives.
• Deliver finished projects and visual materials within established deadlines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Media Studies, Graphic Design, Communications, or Journalism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, specifically Premiere Pro.
• Understanding of basic animation fundamentals and motion graphics techniques using Adobe After Effects CC.
• Ability to commit to 20 hours per week.

• Term: Summer 2026.
• Compensation: $17.05 per hour.
• Status: Paid internship; no housing subsidy provided.
