About the role#
Webco Industries is hiring an Accounting Intern to support our finance team in Sand Springs. This part-time role provides hands-on experience with daily financial operations and core accounting processes within a manufacturing environment. You will work alongside our staff to maintain financial records and contribute to the accuracy of our reporting.
What you'll do#
- Handle daily accounting tasks like data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including tracking payments and processing invoices.
- Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and analysis for internal teams.
- Help with month-end close activities by organizing supporting documentation.
- Conduct basic account analysis and identify discrepancies for review.
- Assist with audit preparation by compiling schedules and documentation.
- Collaborate with teams across the company to gather financial data.
- Participate in initiatives to improve accounting workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Preferred: Completion of introductory accounting coursework.
- Preferred: Prior office experience or familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.

- This position is based on-site in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
- This is a part-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
- You will work in an office environment located within a manufacturing facility.
