Fall 2026 Public Relations Internship Program: Technology Core Sector

About the role#

The Fall 2026 Public Relations Internship Program in the Technology Core Sector is a 16-week, full-time, paid program running from Monday, August 24, through Friday, December 11, 2026. Interns receive industry and agency training, individualized coaching, and mentorship. This role is designed to build a foundation in communications through hands-on experience with Fortune 500 technology clients.

What you'll do#

• Understand the significance of strategic communication in achieving business objectives.
• Build media relations skills and develop the ability to recognize significant and emerging trends.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating press activities, including tours and on-site visits.
• Support the development and distribution of news and announcements across media platforms.
• Collaborate with the team to address client inquiries, manage requests, and develop story concepts.
• Report on relevant coverage and share insights into cultural trends.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a degree in Communications, Public Health, Business Administration, Marketing, Media Studies, or Journalism.
• Excellent written communication and strong research skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
• A detail-oriented mindset and a hunger to learn and evolve.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and all levels of colleagues.

• Location: San Francisco, California.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $22 per hour.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
