About the role#

This internship provides part-time, temporary employment for students currently pursuing academic studies. Interns assist with various clerical, technical, and operational tasks tailored to their academic level and specific department needs within Wayne County.

What you'll do#

Support various Wayne County departments in fulfilling their daily responsibilities.
Provide assistance for departmental meetings, events, and ongoing projects.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, as well as SharePoint.
Prepare summaries, charts, and simple reports.
Manage the filing of physical and electronic documents and records.

What you'll need#

Current enrollment in a college or university.
Educational background in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Data Science, Communications, Computer Science, or Graphic Design.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and SharePoint.
