About the role#
The Talent Marketing department at THE·TEAM is seeking an intern to support day-to-day operations, brand partnerships, and client marketing initiatives for football athletes. This role provides administrative and project support to marketing leadership while assisting with the coordination of brand outreach, campaign execution, and client branding efforts. This is an unpaid internship for college credit.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify brand partnership opportunities for football athletes.
- Conduct outreach to brands and agencies to secure complimentary products, barter partnerships, and paid endorsement deals.
- Assist senior marketing leadership with organizing active partnerships, communications, and deal pipelines.
- Create and update client marketing materials, including pitch decks, athlete portfolios, and partnership presentations.
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns, brand activations, and promotional initiatives.
- Track outreach efforts, campaign requests, and client marketing activities.
- Monitor industry trends and social media to identify client highlights and new opportunities.
- Assist with logistics for athlete appearances, interviews, and major events.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a college degree, preferably in marketing, communications, sports management, or a related field.
- Ability to earn college credit for the internship is required.
- Strong understanding of social and digital media.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Strong self-management and project management abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and demonstrate sound judgment.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 9th – December 11th, 2026).
- Commitment: 20 hours per week, with a requirement to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
- Flexibility: Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
