About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Tampa, Florida. You will work on-site, supporting the pharmacy manager with daily operations, clinical services, and team leadership. This role is a practical step for individuals working toward their pharmacy career.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting to customers regarding medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Handle compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support pharmacy workflow, including inventory management, financial optimization, and customer service.
- Perform clinical and wellness services, such as immunizations and flu shots.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers to resolve issues.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff hiring, training, and performance management.
- Maintain and use pharmacy information technology systems.
- Ensure all pharmacy operations follow regulatory guidelines and company policies.
What you'll need#
- You must be willing to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution before your start date.
- You must be willing to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- You must be a certified immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
