About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will support the daily operations of our pharmacy in Mountain Home. This position focuses on patient care, medication management, and workflow efficiency. You will work directly with our pharmacy team to ensure customers receive accurate service and health guidance.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services and counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Perform clinical and wellness services, including immunizations and flu shots.
- Handle compounding, verification, and the dispensing of medications.
- Process insurance claims and resolve payment issues.
- Coordinate with medical providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve patient questions.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management, performance data analysis, and staff training.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems such as Intercom Plus and StoreNET.
- Engage with the local medical community to build professional relationships.
What you'll need#
- A willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
- The ability to secure pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification as an immunizer or the willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
- This is a part-time, on-site role.
- The position is paid with a salary range of $33.50 to $45.30 per hour.
