About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Intern Grad position in Cadillac, Michigan. You will support pharmacy operations while gaining experience in clinical and retail services. The role involves a rolling term and requires a commitment to professional growth within a pharmacy setting.
What you'll do#
- Provide consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Manage the compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of medications.
- Support efficient pharmacy workflow and assist the pharmacy manager with inventory and performance optimization.
- Engage with customers to answer questions and resolve issues.
- Perform retail, clinical, and wellness services, including administering immunizations.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers to clarify prescriptions.
- Maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems like Intercom Plus and StoreNET.
- Assist with staff hiring, training, and performance management.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution before the start date.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Must be a certified immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
