About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Lowell, Massachusetts. You will work on-site to support pharmacy operations, patient care, and clinical services. This role involves a mix of operational management, customer interaction, and direct healthcare delivery.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services and counsel patients on medication usage, interactions, and side effects.
- Manage the compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with workflow efficiency, staff training, and hiring.
- Perform clinical and wellness services, including immunizations and flu shots.
- Handle insurance claim processing and resolve customer issues.
- Monitor pharmacy financials and inventory management to support store performance.
- Build relationships with the local medical community and healthcare providers.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems such as Intercom Plus and registers.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution before the start date.
- Ability to secure pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Status as a certified immunizer or the willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
