About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will support pharmacy operations in a retail setting. You will work on-site in Cleveland, Tennessee. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, side effects, and preventive healthcare.
- Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
- Ensure pharmacy operations comply with regulations and company policies.
- Support pharmacy workflow, including opening and closing procedures and inventory management.
- Process insurance claims and resolve payment rejections.
- Engage customers, resolve issues, and model customer service best practices.
- Develop relationships with medical providers and the local community.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff hiring, training, and performance coaching.
- Maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems like Intercom Plus and StoreNET.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Certified Immunizer status or a willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
