About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Dover, New Hampshire. You will work on-site to support pharmacy operations, patient care, and clinical services. This role involves a rolling term and is a paid position.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services and counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and health needs.
- Handle the compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of medications while following regulatory guidelines.
- Support daily pharmacy workflow, including opening and closing procedures.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and provide a positive experience.
- Perform retail, clinical, and wellness services, including administering immunizations.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff hiring, training, and performance coaching.
- Manage insurance claims, audit follow-ups, and inventory tasks.
- Build and maintain relationships with the local medical community and healthcare providers.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems and technology.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification as an immunizer or the willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
