About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Pico Rivera, California. You will work on-site to support pharmacy operations, provide clinical services, and assist with staff management. This role is offered on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers and counsel patients on medicine usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Manage the compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support efficient pharmacy workflow and assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management and financial optimization.
- Engage customers by greeting them, offering assistance, and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Perform retail, clinical, and wellness services, including immunizations.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems such as Intercom Plus and StoreNET.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff hiring, training, and performance coaching.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire.
