About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based on-site in Palm Coast, Florida. You will support pharmacy operations while gaining experience in a retail environment. This role involves clinical, retail, and wellness services, as well as assisting the pharmacy manager with staff development and daily workflow.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services, including medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Perform clinical services such as immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness.
- Handle the compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Assist with pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and financial optimization.
- Greet customers and help them with products, services, and insurance claim processing.
- Manage pharmacy opening and closing procedures and shift change duties.
- Support the pharmacy manager with staff training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems like Intercom Plus, registers, and StoreNET.
What you'll need#
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution, obtained prior to the start date.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Certification as an immunizer, or a willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
