About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will work on-site in Saint Augustine, Florida. This is a full-time position with a rolling start date. You will support the pharmacy team in daily operations, patient care, and clinical services while preparing for full pharmacist licensure.
What you'll do#
- Consult with customers on medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare options.
- Handle the compounding, verification, and dispensation of prescribed medications.
- Provide clinical services including immunizations and flu shots.
- Manage pharmacy workflows, including insurance claim processing and inventory oversight.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff training, coaching, and performance management.
- Build relationships with the local medical community and healthcare providers.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems like Intercom Plus and StoreNET.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions regarding side effects or over-the-counter products.
What you'll need#
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution, to be obtained prior to your start date.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Certification as an immunizer, or the willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
