About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position at Walgreens. You will work on-site in Clinton Twp, Michigan. This role is paid and supports the pharmacy team in providing clinical services, managing daily operations, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers, including medication usage and drug interaction guidance.
- Perform clinical tasks such as compounding, drug therapy reviews, medication management, and verification.
- Deliver preventive healthcare services, including immunizations.
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with inventory management, financial optimization, and staff training.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and provide assistance.
- Maintain pharmacy operations in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Conduct virtual product reviews in designated environments.
- Communicate corporate health and wellness strategies to the pharmacy staff.
What you'll need#
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution prior to your start date.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Certification as an immunizer, or the willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
