About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Intern Grad position in Flint, Michigan. You will support pharmacy operations while gaining experience in clinical and retail services. This role involves direct patient interaction, medication management, and assisting the pharmacy manager with daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, side effects, and preventive care.
- Perform compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and financial optimization.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and provide assistance with products and services.
- Deliver clinical and wellness services, including immunizations and flu shots.
- Process insurance claims and resolve payment rejections.
- Coordinate with medical providers to clarify prescriptions and address clinical questions.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff hiring, training, and performance coaching.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems such as Intercom Plus and StoreNET.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
- Ability to secure pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Status as a Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
