About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will work on-site to provide essential pharmacy services and support operations. This role focuses on patient care, medication management, and assisting the pharmacy manager with daily tasks. You will gain experience in a retail pharmacy environment while working toward your professional licensure.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting to customers regarding medication usage, drug interactions, and side effects.
- Perform compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Offer preventive healthcare services, including immunizations and flu shots.
- Support pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and financial optimization.
- Counsel patients on over-the-counter products and contraindications.
- Process insurance claims and resolve payment rejections.
- Use pharmacy systems like Intercom Plus and StoreNET.
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
- Engage in community outreach to promote pharmacy services.
- Maintain compliance with all regulations and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Certified Immunizer status or the willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.

- Compensation: $33.50 to $45.30 per hour.
