About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will work on-site in a retail pharmacy setting. This is a full-time role that focuses on patient care, clinical services, and pharmacy operations. You will support the pharmacy manager in daily tasks while gaining hands-on experience in a professional healthcare environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, side effects, and over-the-counter products.
- Perform clinical and wellness services, including immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness screenings.
- Ensure the accurate compounding, dispensation, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, including opening and closing procedures and shift changes.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with medical providers to clarify prescriptions or dosages.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management, financial performance analysis, and staff training.
- Engage with patients to resolve issues and provide proactive healthcare support.
- Participate in community outreach to promote pharmacy services.
What you'll need#
- A willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Must be a certified immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

- Compensation: $33.50 to $45.30 per hour.
