About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based on-site in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. You will work alongside the pharmacy manager to support daily operations, manage inventory, and provide essential healthcare services to our customers.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services, including medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Perform clinical and wellness services such as immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness.
- Handle compounding, dispensation, and verification of medications while following regulatory guidelines.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with workflow, staff training, and hiring.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and asset protection.
- Resolve insurance claim issues and coordinate with medical providers to clarify prescriptions.
- Engage with customers to answer questions and address concerns.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Must be a Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
