About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will support pharmacy operations while gaining experience in a retail setting. This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical services, and administrative tasks to ensure the pharmacy runs efficiently. You will work under the guidance of the pharmacy manager to help optimize financial performance and inventory management.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Perform compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff hiring, training, and coaching.
- Conduct retail, clinical, and wellness services including immunizations and flu shots.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers to clarify prescriptions.
- Maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems and suggest improvements to boost productivity.
- Build relationships with the local medical community to support pharmacy growth.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution before your start date.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Certified Immunizer status or the willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.

- Compensation: $33.50 to $45.30 per hour.
