About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Trinity, Florida. You will work on-site, supporting the pharmacy manager with daily operations, clinical services, and team leadership. This role offers flexible hours and follows a rolling application schedule.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Handle the compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support pharmacy workflow and assist the pharmacy manager with financial and inventory management.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and ensure a positive experience.
- Perform retail and clinical services, including immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness programs.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems such as Intercom Plus, registers, automation, and StoreNET.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with insurance companies and medical providers.
- Assist with staff hiring, training, and performance management.
What you'll need#
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution, or the willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to secure pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Certification as an immunizer, or the willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
