About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will work on-site in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date. You will support pharmacy operations while gaining experience in clinical and retail pharmacy services.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Handle compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support pharmacy workflow and assist the pharmacy manager with financial and inventory management.
- Engage customers by greeting them, answering questions, and offering assistance.
- Perform pharmacist tasks including medication management and drug therapy reviews.
- Ensure pharmacy operations follow regulations and company policies.
- Assist with staff hiring and training.
- Communicate corporate health and wellness strategy to pharmacy staff.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy in the district states within 90 days of hire.
- Certified Immunizer status or a willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
